Tax season is here. Are you ready?

IRS officially started accepting 2021 Tax returns from January 24. With all the changes to the tax law, it’s best to start early with your tax returns this year.  Here is a quick guide to help you get started.

When are the tax returns due?
S-Corporations – March 15, 2022
Partnerships – March 15, 2022
Individuals – April 18, 2022
C-Corporations – April 18, 2022

A six month extension is also available but it must be filed before the original deadline.

When will I get my refund?

Most people receive their refunds within 21 days. The Treasury Department warned that tax refunds will likely be delayed due to a massive backlog of unprocessed returns from 2021.  Refund status can be checked at the IRS website.
